More About Jacqueline

With a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development, Jacqueline has a strong passion for representing families and children. This led her to seek her board certification in Juvenile Law which she obtained in December 2008 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Jacqueline began her career prosecuting cases at the Dallas District Attorney’s office and spent the majority of her time in the area of juvenile law, giving her valuable insight and experience into the court system and into her practice of defense work with children, adults, and families. As the mother of a young child with special needs, Jacqueline understands the struggles and challenges that come in raising children, and the stress and difficulty that occurs in families when seeking to ensure your children have all of their needs met in educational settings.

Throughout her career, she has had the opportunity to work with families, children, police officers, other professionals, court staff or attorneys to better the lives of those individuals in the community. Jacqueline is committed to continue this mission through helping juveniles, children, parents, and families in her community move forward from their challenges.
