I am a family lawyer with more than twenty years of courtroom experience. I understand the emotional and financial cost of litigating a family case and believe litigation should NOT be the first option in most family law cases. As a collaboratively trained attorney and mediator I believe that there are better options available to resolve family disputes outside of the courtroom. Mediation and Collaborative Law are two of the most powerful options available to a family law client. Both options allow the parties to craft agreements that are in the best interest of the family without stepping foot into a courtroom. The parties can settle legal and financial disputes using a round table approach in the collaborative process with the assistance of a collaborative team of professionals, while being provided the tools to create and maintain a positive co-parenting relationship post separation and divorce.
